HELP OTHERS!! |
| I, Naomi
Gal from Kibbutz Hahotrim, Israel
- has been running
a very special little zoo for more then 20 years. |
| Its
main objectives are saving wild animals and rehabilitating people through animal
care. |
| Some
of the social welfare projects include: |
|
| - Helping
disadvantaged children. |
| -
Helping people suffering from post - traumatic (war)
stress disorder. |
| -
Helping jail inmates
towards their reintegration into society. |
| -
Helping to build and maintain "little-zoos"
in jails and hospitals for
mental disturbed people. |
| -
Helping school drop - outs who have difficulty in adapting
to society. |
| -
We also cared for wounded animals found in the Northern
part of Israel. |
|
| Lately,
because of the Kibbutz economic difficulties, we have undergone
a privatization process and founded a non-profit organization
which must function without the financial backing of the Kibbutz. |
| We
want to keep helping others but because of lack of resources
must approach people who care and will appreciate the important
work we do. |
|
|
Some
weeks ago we became an Association for aiding the handicapped through
animal care( non-profit association!).
|
|
We
will be glad to host and show our place to
anybody who represents you + it will be
very grateful if you decide:
